Do you ever listen to what I say? Does it go in one ear
and out of the other? Shall I go and talk to another?
Someone who will listen, leaving their eyes to glisten
while I speak, or should I go away and come back
some other day when you are more alert and I am
not feeling hurt – the pain of being ignored, just
because you start to get bored!
