It Tried To Rain Today

It tried to rain today but never came our way,

Maybe tomorrow when there is plenty of

sorrow – Monday – not a day to like; wish some-

one would tell it to take a hike and never come

back again. Unlike a Sunday which can be

described as a fun day – one to enjoy and no

work to employ. But Monday never does go away

What more can anyone say? It is a day to avoid; no

wonder people get annoyed. Just stay in bed and

hope it will pass. Don’t worry about getting the sack

No one will notice that you are not there. So forget

Monday, and whatever you do, don’t give a care!
